Giant Old Tube or Projection TV Stuck in a St. Simons House?
Same-Day Old TV Removal on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take the heavy old ones — the TVs people describe with their hands. A tube set carries most of its weight in thick glass at the front, a console is a tube TV built into furniture, and a rear-projection set is tall, wide and, in the larger sizes, well over two hundred pounds.
St. Simons Island
Old sets in long-held island houses
When one of these sets comes out of a long-held family house during an estate cleanout, it’s usually in the hardest spot in the place: the den, an upstairs bonus room, the back of a garage. Island estate work isn’t rushed. Anything that might carry value or meaning, a console cabinet included, is pulled aside so you can decide before it goes anywhere.
It could be a console TV in the den of a Black Banks home or a projection set upstairs in a house in St. Clair.
Off Sea Island Road and toward the north end, the houses are bigger, the driveways longer, and the walk from a bonus room to the truck can be the longest part of the day. The pace there is set by what’s being carried rather than by the clock: a projection TV comes down the stairs slowly and deliberately, and soft ground gets more hands, not more speed.
What we handle
How the old sets come out
Each set goes on a dolly and out along the route we planned from your photos. A console is treated as the piece of furniture it is, and a screen that’s already cracked is fine — just mention it so it’s handled accordingly.
The VCR, DVD player and converter box from the same cabinet can come along, and so can the TV cart or the entertainment center it sat in.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

After the pickup
What happens to an old set
We figure out the right destination for each one. None of these sets belong in the regular trash; they’re routed through appropriate electronics recycling or disposal channels when applicable, by what the set is and what receiving facilities will accept.
If a console cabinet looks like it might mean something to the family, it’s brought to your attention before it’s loaded, and the decision is yours.
The load leaves the island and heads directly into Brunswick.
Pricing
What the price comes down to
An old set’s weight and the route out matter more than the space it takes on the truck. A tube TV in a ground-floor room is a quick carry; a rear-projection set coming down from a bonus room, or a long walk to wherever the truck can sit, takes more people and more time.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
