Pricing
How pricing works.
What barn cleanout costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
A barn is priced by how much is in it and how hard it is to get to. A tack room and a few stalls might fill one of the smaller tiers. A hay loft, a back bay of rusted implements and a long walk across soft ground is a bigger load and a longer day. If a lean-to or a collapsed shed beside the barn needs to come down too, send photos and we’ll quote it with the rest. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Garage Cleanouts service
Yes — we clean out barns, from a horse barn with a tack room to an equipment barn nobody has really opened since the cows were sold. A barn holds a different kind of junk than a garage. It’s heavier, it’s spread out over more ground, and a lot of it has been sitting in the weather: old hay and straw, feed sacks, stall mats, water troughs, rolls of field fence and barbed wire, T-posts, stacks of tin, lumber from a project that never happened, and a mower or a tiller that quit years ago.
Most barn cleanouts start with a change. The land is being sold, a parent’s place is being settled, the horses are gone, or somebody finally wants the barn back for something useful. We work through it bay by bay, loft to floor. Anything that looks like it matters — a saddle, an old sign, a box of papers in the tack room — gets set aside for you, not decided by the crew.
A barn usually sits a ways back from the road, and that’s normal in this part of Georgia. Out around Woodbine and the rest of north Camden, in the Liberty and Long County country, or on McIntosh acreage, a place can be fifteen minutes down a two-lane road and then a good walk past the house. We don’t act surprised by that. That’s coastal Georgia.

How we work
Cleaning Out a Barn on Acreage West of Brunswick
Three things set a barn job: how far the barn is from where the truck can sit, what the ground is like in between, and how much of the pile is heavy. Rubber stall mats, wet hay and a stack of tin weigh a lot more than they look in a photo. After a wet week a pasture can be too soft to cross with a loaded trailer, so we stage where the ground holds and carry or wheel the rest. Wide photos of the barn and the way in from the road tell us most of what we need.
Metal — tin, wire, T-posts, old implements — usually goes to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. Everything else is sorted by what it is and the shape it’s in. Let us know about any propane tanks when you send photos, so we can figure out the right way to handle them. An old fuel can or a mower with gas still in it is worth a mention too, and we’ll work out the safest way to take it.
Out Highway 99, a barn can sit at the back of the acreage with a pasture, a gate and a line of pines between it and the road. That’s ordinary out there, and nobody has to drag anything up to the house for us. The questions are the ones every barn raises: how close a truck can get after the last rain, what’s up in the loft, and how much of the pile is tin and wire versus rotten hay and feed. A few wide photos from the road in, and a couple from inside the bays, are enough to price it. That holds for a barn anywhere around Glynn County.
