Shed disposal across the Golden Isles.
Wood, metal, vinyl, hurricane-damaged. Demo, debris hauled, yard cleared. Contents handled separately.
Shed disposal in coastal Georgia is part demolition, part hurricane response, and part backyard-cleanup. Every storm season we get calls from property owners whose shed didn’t survive a hurricane. Other times the shed is intact but old, unused, and finally getting cleared from the property.
The work is straightforward demolition. Wood sheds come down at the joints — roof off, walls separated, floor lifted. Metal sheds come apart at the panel seams. Vinyl sheds disassemble at the joiners. Most freestanding sheds come down in two-to-four hours when they’re structurally sound and accessible.
Contents are a separate conversation. We can clear contents in the same job (lawn equipment, tools, stored furniture) or leave them for the customer to handle. Tell us on the call what’s inside the shed so we plan the load.
What we haul
Specifically, what we take for shed disposal.

How we work
How we actually handle it.
A backyard shed comes down in a few hours when it’s freestanding and clean. Wood sheds we usually take roof-first, walls second, floor last. Metal sheds we separate at the panel seams. Vinyl sheds disassemble at the joiners.
Foundation handling depends on what’s under the shed. Wood floors lift cleanly. Concrete pads stay in the ground unless the customer specifically wants them out (separate scope). Sheds on gravel or compacted earth come up with a quick rake-out of the footprint.
Hurricane-damaged sheds are a different job. The structure may be partially collapsed, the roof may be off, the walls may be leaning. We assess on site, plan the safe disassembly, and don’t take risks just to make the timeline.
Pricing
How pricing works.
Shed pricing scales with size, materials, condition, and whether contents are coming with the shed. A small intact wood shed is the lightest version. A larger metal shed with significant hurricane damage and contents to clear is heavier work.

The honest exceptions
What we won’t take — for this item.
A short, honest list of edge cases we either won’t take or want to discuss before we show up. When in doubt, call us — we’ll walk through it before scheduling.
- Concrete pad foundations, unless specifically contracted for
- Active electrical, gas, or water connections to the shed — call us first if utilities are present
- Hazardous-material storage that needs specialized disposal — call us first to discuss
