Leftover Lumber Pile in Brunswick? We Load It by Hand

Same-Day Lumber Removal in Brunswick Often Available — Call or Text

Pricing

How pricing works.

What lumber removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.

Lumber prices by the space it takes, so a tight stack fills less of the truck than the same boards thrown in a heap. Soaked wood, long sheets and a long walk from the back of the property add time. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Construction Debris Removal service

Every project leaves wood behind. A few two-by-fours that were going to be shelves, half a sheet of plywood, the old deck boards that came up when the new ones went down. It gets stacked against the fence to deal with later, and in this climate later doesn’t treat it kindly — the pile soaks up rain, grows mildew, and turns into the place the snakes and the palmetto bugs like best.

That’s the pile we come for. Stacked or scattered, dry or soaked, clean boards or boards full of nails, it gets loaded by hand and the ground underneath gets raked. You don’t need to pull nails, sort it or move it to the curb.

Clean, straight lumber can sometimes have a second life. Habitat for Humanity ReStore is one of the places we work with, and if what you have is usable we’ll make a reasonable effort there — they decide what they take, so it’s never a promise. The rest goes where it responsibly can.

What we haul

Specifically, what we take for lumber removal.

  • Leftover framing lumber and offcuts
  • Plywood, OSB and particleboard sheets
  • Old deck boards and fence pickets
  • Weathered and pressure-treated boards
  • Wet, mildewed or nail-studded scrap wood piles
  • Wood mixed with a little metal, wire or hardware

How we work

Old Lumber Piles on Brunswick Lots

Wood is heavier than it looks once it’s been rained on, and a soaked plywood sheet is an awkward, floppy carry. Most piles go straight onto the truck. A big one — years of projects, or what was left after a lot got cleared — may call for a dump trailer or a dumpster instead, and we’ll match the equipment to the pile from your photos.

If there’s metal mixed in, a few hinges or a length of rebar, it gets pulled out on the truck and goes to scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick. And if the wood is only part of what’s in the yard, the rest of the pile can go with it.

A wood pile on a lot up in North Glynn or behind a shed in Sterling tends to sit until it’s soaked, mildewed and home to the palmetto bugs. It loads by hand, nails and all, and the ground underneath gets raked. Clean, straight boards can sometimes find a second life through Habitat for Humanity ReStore if they’ll take them, any metal mixed in often goes to scrap, and the rest goes where it responsibly can. Tell us roughly how big the pile is and how far it sits from the driveway. For a big one, a dump trailer or a dumpster gets matched from your photos, north of Brunswick or in town.
