Store Closing or Remodeling in Brunswick? We Clear the Fixtures
Same-Day Retail Fixture Removal in Brunswick Often Available — Call or Text
What comes out of a store when it closes or resets?
Pretty much everything bolted, stacked or standing on the sales floor. Gondola runs and endcaps, wall shelving, slatwall and gridwall panels, clothing racks and round racks, mannequins and dress forms, glass display cases, jewelry counters, the cash wrap, shopping carts and hand baskets. We take it whether it’s a few racks after a reset or every fixture in the building.
The machines belong to this group too. Snack and cold-drink vending machines from the break room or the hallway, and ATMs — the freestanding kind by the front door of a store or a bar, the lobby unit, the one built through the wall of a storefront. They’re tall, heavy for their size and made to stay put, so they get their own plan.
The reasons vary. A shop is closing for good, a chain is swapping in a new fixture package, a landlord is getting a unit back with the last tenant’s shelving still standing, or a new tenant wants the space bare before the buildout starts. The list below shows every item in the group and the other names people use for them.

How a store full of fixtures gets taken down
Photos come first: the sales floor, the stockroom, anything with glass, any machine, and the door you’d like us to use. A center that wants contractors at the loading door, a lease with a hard date on it or a store that’s still open during the day — tell us which, and the crew gets planned around it, after the doors close included. You get a firm price from those photos.
Most store fixtures went up fast and come down the same way. A gondola run is uprights, base decks, shelves and back panels held by slots and weight, so it breaks down by hand and rides flat. Racks unbolt or fold, and wall panels come off the studs in sections. Glass is slower: the shelves come out of a case first, then it travels upright and padded. A freestanding counter on levelers just rolls out; a built-in run gets looked at from the photos.
Vending machines and ATMs move upright on a heavy appliance dolly, strapped, with the floor covered from where they stand to the truck. A floor-anchored ATM comes free of its bolts before it moves. Doorways matter here, because many machines are close to door width, so the photo of the path out is worth as much as the photo of the machine. We take a vending machine or an ATM when the person booking has the authority to dispose of it — the business it belongs to, or the landlord or manager it was left with.
Afterward it’s sorted by material. Gondola steel, racks, carts and machine cabinets usually go to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. Cold-drink machines go through the appropriate refrigerant recycling channel, and electronics go through the appropriate electronics recycling or disposal channel. A clean glass case or a matched set of shelving may suit a donation organization such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore; they decide what they accept, and condition matters. The floor gets swept when the last panel is out.
What changes the price
Store fixtures price on the same truck-load tiers as everything else. A handful of clothing racks from a ground-floor boutique sits at the light end. A whole sales floor of gondola runs, a long glass counter and the stockroom shelving fills more of the truck, and glass cases need more hands to carry safely. One vending machine or one ATM near the door is a single-item job; a bank of machines, an upper floor or a long hallway with turns adds time and help.
After-hours work is planned into the number up front, not added on the night, and the price you agree to is the price you pay. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
