Who Takes Out Salon Chairs and Stations in Brunswick?

Pricing
How pricing works.
What salon equipment removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
A single dryer chair or a manicure table from the front of the shop sits at the light end. A full salon floor — a row of stations, the shampoo bowls, a pair of pedicure spas and the reception counter — fills more of the truck and takes more hands, and an upstairs suite or a long walk from the back door adds time. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Commercial Junk Removal service
Yes, we take salon equipment — one worn-out chair or the whole floor. A salon is a room full of furniture that was never meant to move once it was set: chairs on heavy hydraulic bases, shampoo bowls tied into the plumbing, stations screwed to the wall with a mirror above each one, pedicure spas with their own basins. Every piece leaves a little differently, and knowing which is which is most of the job.
The chairs carry the weight. A hydraulic styling or barber chair keeps most of its heft in the round base and the pump, so it rides base-down on a dolly instead of tipped back on its headrest. The old porcelain-and-chrome barber chairs from a shop that’s been open a long time are heavier still, and they get blankets and straps so the chrome and the upholstery aren’t scraped on the way out. Pedicure spa chairs are the bulky ones — a raised seat over a footbath that sometimes needs the armrests or the basin off to clear a back door.
Stations come down in the order they went up: mirror first, wrapped, then the station, then the back bar or the shelving behind it. Steel chair bases, trolleys and metal stations usually go to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. Chairs and stations still in good shape may suit one of the donation organizations we work with, such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore or Goodwill — they decide what they accept, and condition matters.

How we work
Clearing Salon Equipment Out of a Brunswick Storefront
Shampoo bowls and pedicure spas are where plumbing comes into it. A shampoo bowl sits on a cabinet or a pedestal with supply lines and a drain behind it, and a pedicure spa usually has water in and water out. When licensed electrical or plumbing work is needed, that’s normally handled by you or a licensed pro. Show us what you have and where it is, and we’ll help figure out what’s needed and work around it. After that, the bowl and its base come out like any other heavy fixture, carried, not dragged across the tile.
Most salons sit in a storefront or a shopping-center bay, so the carry is usually short: the front door on the parking lot, or a back door on a service lane. If the salon is still open while the old stations go and the new ones come in, we schedule around the appointment book — before opening, after close, or on the day you’re closed — so nobody is getting a color with a dolly going by.
Most salons in town sit in a storefront, which is good news for the carry. A bay in a strip center along the Altama Avenue corridor usually has the parking right outside and sometimes a back door on a service lane. A narrow shop in Downtown Brunswick can be a long room with one way in, so the chairs and stations leave through the front, one at a time, with the floor covered the whole way. Either way, the question is mostly where the truck can sit and which door the pedicure chairs fit through. Send a few photos of the floor and both doors, and we’ll plan it for any salon across Brunswick.
