Clearing Out a Fitness Room or Gym on St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Gym Equipment Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Can we take it? Yes. Commercial equipment is built to take a beating from strangers all day, which is exactly why it’s hard to move — and why a gym is one of the heaviest rooms there is to empty. We take it out piece by piece.
The question that sets the day is where the gym sits: a ground-floor studio with a wide door, a condo building’s fitness room down a hallway, or an upstairs space where every plate has to be carried, not rolled.

Gym jobs on the island
On the Demere corridor, the hard part of a gym job is the street. Where the truck can stop, how long it can hold that spot, and how fast steel can move from the door to the trailer all shape the plan. We stage it so the sidewalk and the next business stay clear.
A condo fitness room brings the building into it: elevators, narrow service halls and association requirements. If you manage the property, tell us what has to go and we handle the rest without anyone needing to stand over the job.
Club-grade machines also turn up in houses — a private gym in Frederica or one in gated Hamilton Landing. The same rule applies there: stacks out first, frames second.
Commercial jobs are a smaller share of our island work than homes and rentals, and we treat them the same way: show up when we said, keep the space clean, and leave the floor ready for whatever comes next.
What we handle
How a gym comes apart
Weight stacks come out of the machines before the frames move. Racks and rigs unbolt into sections, and lockers come off the wall in banks.
Rubber flooring gets rolled or stacked, and a boxing ring comes apart down to its platform. If you’re still open, we work around your hours; if you’ve closed, the floor can be cleared in one planned job with a truck, trailers or a dumpster sized to the amount of steel and rubber.
Whoever books the job just needs the right to dispose of the equipment; we’ll sort that out with you when we quote.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
A few machines from a condo fitness room price off the load table. A full gym is quoted as a project from photos, since the amount of iron, the flooring and the floor the gym is on decide the time. Island access and the causeway are counted in that same quote.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where gym equipment goes
We figure out the right destination for each piece. Working cardio and strength equipment can sometimes go on to a second home, and we make a reasonable effort where it makes sense, but whoever takes it decides.
Most of a gym is steel, and steel is usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. The loads come off the island and go straight there or to wherever the rest belongs.
