Computer and monitor removal across the Golden Isles.
Desktops, laptops, monitors, and the boxes of cables underneath the desk. Wipe or pull the drives first — then it’s ours to deal with.
The short version
Computer & Monitor Removal at a glance.
- What it is
- Removal of computers, laptops, monitors, and the peripherals around them — from a single tower to a whole office refresh, routed for electronics recycling.
- What’s included
- Desktops, laptops, and all-in-ones
- LCD, LED, and heavy CRT monitors
- Printers, scanners, and network gear
- Cables, power supplies, and peripherals
- Home offices and small commercial IT cleanouts
- How pricing works
- Priced on the room the load takes, the labor to carry it out, the access, and disposal cost — electronics carry recycler fees on some categories, notably CRT displays, and that shows in the number rather than hiding in it. Two laptops on an existing load is close to nothing; forty monitors is its own job.
Part of our E Waste Recycling service
Electronics are the category that sits longest. A dead couch goes to the curb within a week. A dead computer goes in a closet, then the garage, then the attic, and five years later there are four of them plus a monitor nobody can throw away because nobody is sure whether it is legal, and because there is a vague and correct instinct that a hard drive is not just trash.
That instinct is right, and it is the part people actually want answered. So we will say it plainly: wipe the drive or pull it out before we pick the machine up. We do not offer certified data destruction and we are not going to imply we do. If the data matters — a business, an estate, anything with financial records on it — take the drive out and keep it. A drive is four screws and two minutes, and it is the version of this where nobody has to trust anybody.
The other thing that makes this category different in coastal Georgia is what the humidity does while a computer waits in the garage. Boards corrode, batteries swell, and a laptop that sat in a hot attic for six summers is not a laptop anybody is going to refurbish. We are honest about that. Some of what we pick up has genuine reuse value and some of it is a recycling stream, and the difference is not something a homeowner should have to sort out.
Most of these calls are not one computer either. It is a desk cleanout, an office closing, a parent's house where the family finds three generations of machines, or a second home being emptied. We take the tower, the monitors, the printer nobody replaced, the tangle of cables, and the surge protector that has been unplugged since 2014.
What we haul
Specifically, what we take for computer & monitor removal.
- Desktop towers, all-in-ones, and small-form-factor PCs
- Laptops, notebooks, and tablets
- Monitors — LCD, LED, and older heavy CRT displays
- Keyboards, mice, webcams, speakers, docking stations
- Printers, scanners, and all-in-one units
- Servers, network gear, UPS battery backups, and surge protectors
- Cables, power bricks, and the box of adapters under the desk
- Whole home offices and small commercial IT cleanouts
How we work
How we actually handle it.
Most computer pickups ride along with something else — a desk, an office cleanout, a whole-house clearing. A tower and two monitors is a two-minute load. It rarely needs a dedicated trip on its own, and we will say so rather than schedule one.
Old CRT monitors and tube-era equipment are the exception on weight. A twenty-one-inch CRT is heavier than it looks and awkward in a way that flat panels are not, and the glass matters — we do not stack them loose in the truck bed and hope. Tell us on the call if that is what you have so we bring the right hands.
Where it gets bigger is a business. An office closing or a refresh means towers, monitors, network gear, UPS units and cabling all at once, usually against a lease date. That is a scheduled job with a real load, and it is worth telling us the machine count up front so we bring the right truck.
We do not power anything on, we do not look at what is on a screen, and we do not go through files. The machine goes on the truck the way you handed it to us.
Pricing
How pricing works.
Computer and electronics pricing works the same way everything else does here: how much room the load takes on the truck, the labor to get it out of where it sits, what the access looks like, and what it costs to dispose of properly.
Electronics land differently on that last factor. Recyclers charge to take some categories — old CRT displays especially — and that shows up in the number rather than getting hidden. A couple of laptops added to a furniture load is close to nothing. Forty monitors out of an office is its own job.
Send a photo or give us a rough count and we will give you one number, confirmed before anything goes on the truck.

The honest exceptions
What we won’t take — for this item.
A short, honest list of edge cases we either won’t take or want to discuss before we show up. When in doubt, call us — we’ll walk through it before scheduling.
- Certified data destruction or drive shredding — we do not offer it and will not pretend otherwise; wipe or remove your drives before pickup
- Powering on, accessing, or reviewing anything stored on a device
- Damaged or swollen lithium batteries, which need to be identified separately before we load
- Devices contaminated with fuel, chemicals, or biological hazards
