Light demolition is the work that sits between regular junk hauling and full structural construction. Sheds rotting in the back yard, decks built on the cheap that need to come down before the new addition, playsets the kids outgrew a decade ago, fences leaning sideways since the last storm, gazebos that didn’t survive the salt air. The structures come apart on site, the pieces load on the truck, and the yard goes back to being a yard.
The crew that handles hot-tub removal handles this category. Same approach: disassemble in place, load the pieces, sweep the area, leave the surrounding property intact. Permitted structural demolition (load-bearing walls, full additions, anything requiring engineering) is out of our scope — that’s a contractor with permits.
