Yes, we clean out sheds, and on this coast a shed is its own kind of problem. It’s the building where things go when they’re too dirty for the garage and too good to throw away, and then it sits out back in the heat and the humidity for years. Tools rust. Cardboard goes soft. A push mower that worked fine one summer won’t turn over the next.
By the time most people call, they can barely get the door open. Something’s leaning against it from the inside. The good shovel is behind a broken grill, behind two bags of potting soil, behind a bike nobody’s ridden since middle school.
The shed itself is usually fine. It’s what’s in it that needs to go.

How we do it

A shed cleanout is priced by how much of the truck the contents fill. A garden shed with some tools and boxes is a small load. A big storage building packed to the rafters with a riding mower, furniture and years of yard gear is a bigger one. The carry across the yard is part of the price from the start.
The price we give you from your photos is what you pay. If you decide the shed itself should go too, or you want the garage done while we’re there, we’ll tell you what that adds before anybody starts on it. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
What years in a coastal shed do to things
Out here a shed is a hot, damp box most of the year. That changes what’s worth keeping. Tools that would have lasted decades in a dry climate show rust after a few summers. Cardboard boxes soften and collapse. Cushions, tarps and anything fabric pick up mildew. Small engines that sat with old gas in them often don’t start again.
None of that makes the job harder for us; it just means most of what comes out of an old shed is going to scrap or disposal rather than to a second home. If there’s something you want to try to save, set it aside and we’ll leave it.
