The short version

Office Cleanouts at a glance.

What it is
Clearing an office for a move, a closing, a downsize or a furniture refresh -- furniture, cubicles, filing cabinets and electronics, scheduled around the workday.
What’s included
  • Desks, cubicles, chairs, conference tables and filing cabinets
  • Office electronics routed to recyclers where accepted
  • On-site breakdown of furniture that comes apart with hand tools
  • Scheduling around business hours, building access and loading docks
How pricing works
Priced on volume, access and time on site, with a firm price from photos or a walkthrough confirmed before anything is loaded. All major credit cards, Venmo and Cash App, handled through our office; commercial account terms may be available for approved customers.

Offices collect more furniture than they need. The desks from two layouts ago. The cubicle panels stacked in a back room. Filing cabinets nobody has opened since the records went digital, a conference table too big for the new space, and a storage closet full of monitors, keyboards and printers that stopped working one at a time.

An office cleanout is the day all of that leaves. Sometimes the business is moving and the new space is smaller or already furnished. Sometimes the practice is closing. Sometimes new furniture is arriving and the old has to be out first. And sometimes a landlord is standing in an office a tenant walked away from.

The work is physical but not complicated: break down what comes apart, carry it out, load it, and leave the space empty. What makes it go well is timing — around the staff, around the building and around whatever deadline sits behind the job. For retail, restaurant and warehouse work, our commercial junk removal page covers the wider picture.

Who calls us

Who we run this work for.

Office managers and business owners moving to a new space. The keep-pile goes with the movers; everything else goes with us, ideally before moving day so the movers aren’t paying attention to furniture that isn’t coming.

Practices and small businesses closing or consolidating. A law office, a medical practice or an agency winding down, with a lease end date and a room full of furniture nobody is taking.

Companies bringing in new furniture. The old workstations, chairs and tables have to be out before the delivery, often on a weekend or after hours so the office can open Monday as normal.

Landlords and building owners with an office a tenant left behind. Furniture, files, electronics and accumulated junk that has to go before the space can be shown. Whether it’s an office on Broad Street in downtown Darien’s historic district or a suite in Brunswick, the job is the same: clear it, sweep it and hand it back.

How we do it

Office Cleanouts Beyond Downtown Brunswick

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed — each room, the storage areas and the path out to the parking lot or loading area. A floor plan helps for larger offices, and a short walkthrough is available when photos won’t tell the whole story. We give you a firm price, confirmed before anything is loaded.

We schedule around the workday or after it. If the building has a loading dock, a freight elevator or security check-in, we set that up ahead of time with you or the building manager so the crew isn’t waiting at the door. A certificate of insurance goes to whoever needs one before the job.

On the day, cubicles, desks and shelving that come apart with hand tools get broken down on site. Everything is carried out with dollies and floor protection, loaded with equipment sized to the job, and the space is left swept. If you need photos or a list of what left for your records, tell us when you book and we’ll work with you.

Same-day pickup is often available in Brunswick, St. Simons Island and the Golden Isles — call or text for the next available opening. Camden County and inland areas are scheduled, usually within the week. A full office with a lease date behind it gets planned back from that date.

Offices in Brunswick aren’t all downtown. A suite along New Jesup Highway or a small office off Blythe Island Highway clears the same way as any other: cubicles and desks broken down on site, filing cabinets out on dollies, and the space swept behind the crew. Old computers, monitors and printers go to the appropriate electronics recycling or disposal channels when applicable, on the same trip as the furniture. Send photos of each room and the way out to the parking lot, and tell us whether after-hours works better for you. That’s how an office clear-out goes anywhere in our Brunswick territory.

What’s in scope

What we haul.

What we haul in this category

  • Desks, executive desks and reception counters
  • Cubicle and workstation systems, broken down on site
  • Office chairs, guest seating and breakroom furniture
  • Conference tables and boardroom furniture
  • Filing cabinets, bookcases and metal shelving
  • Computers, monitors, printers, copiers and other office electronics
  • Breakroom refrigerators, microwaves and small appliances
  • Storage-room boxes, old signage, artwork and general office junk

Where another professional genuinely has to be involved — a certified shredding provider, for example — we’ll tell you when we quote and work around them.

Pricing

How pricing works on these jobs.

Office cleanouts are priced on volume, access and time on site. A few desks and chairs from a ground-floor suite are the light end. A full floor of workstations with a freight elevator and a dock appointment is the heavy end. After-hours scheduling is planned into the number up front, not added after.

You get a firm price before anything is loaded, and it holds unless the job changes. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Payment is by any major credit card, Venmo or Cash App, handled through our office. Commercial account terms may be available for approved customers.

Old computers, printers and filing cabinets

Office cleanouts mean electronics: towers, monitors, laptops, printers, copiers, phone systems and the bin of cables nobody could throw away. They go to electronics recyclers wherever a recycler accepts the material, and the rest of the load goes its own way.

If any of those machines still hold company or client data, tell us. We’ll schedule around your timing for wiping or pulling the drives, then haul the hardware.

Filing cabinets are heavy when they’re full and easy when they’re empty. Metal cabinets and shelving usually go to scrap recycling, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.

Where the furniture goes

Office furniture in good shape is worth more than a landfill. Usable desks, chairs, tables and bookcases are offered to organizations we work with — HART in McIntosh County, Habitat ReStore, the Boys & Girls Club, the Salvation Army, Goodwill and others.

They decide what they accept. Condition matters, space matters, and what they already have matters, so donation is something we pursue rather than promise for any particular piece. What can’t be reused goes where the material fits — metal typically to scrap, electronics through the appropriate recycling or disposal channel, a breakroom refrigerator through the appropriate refrigerant recycling channel, often SA Recycling in Brunswick — and landfill is what’s left when nothing better fits.

Timing it with the move or the new furniture

There are two good times for an office cleanout. Before the movers come, so they only pack and move what’s going. Or the day after the move, when the old space has to be empty for the landlord.

If new furniture is arriving, the order matters even more: old out, floors clear, new in. Tell us the delivery date and the hours the building allows, and we’ll plan the crew to finish before the delivery truck pulls in.
