A cottage kitchen can mean a tight doorway and a fridge whose doors have to come off to clear it; a larger house can mean a laundry room upstairs and a long carry to the drive. Either way the floors get covered where the dolly rolls, the walls and the gate stay unmarked, and the truck stays off the landscaping. When the units are out, we sweep up where they stood.

We handle the simple stuff as part of the haul: unplugging plug-in units and a basic hand-disconnect of an accessible water supply. A water heater gets drained before it moves.
A range on a gas line or a dishwasher plumbed in under the counter is still a normal pickup for us. When licensed electrical or plumbing work is needed, that’s normally handled by you or a licensed pro. Show us what you have and where it is, and we’ll help figure out what’s needed and work around it.
The carry is a dolly and the hands it needs, and stairs are standard for us. Working units ride apart from the finished ones so they can still go somewhere useful.

After the pickup
Where the old units go
Refrigerators, freezers and other units with refrigerant go through the appropriate appliance and refrigerant recycling channel, most often SA Recycling in Brunswick, where the refrigerant is recovered as part of their process.
The rest starts with one question: does it still work? A working unit may go to a donation organization that wants it, or get an inexpensive repair and go to a family who needs one. Finished units go to disposal, with the metal usually going for scrap at SA Recycling.

What changes the price
Appliance pricing is by unit and access: what it is, how big, which floor and how far to the truck. Several units on one visit cost less per unit than one at a time, so a whole kitchen is the efficient way to do it. Being on Sea Island doesn’t add anything.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
