Clearing Out Old Furniture From a Sea Island Home?
Same-Day Furniture Removal on Sea Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take furniture on Sea Island: sofas, beds, dressers, armoires, dining sets, the guest-room pieces and whatever has drifted out to the garage. Furniture removal is everyday work for us, and we bring the hands the job needs.
What decides the day is rarely the furniture itself. It’s the route out of the room, and the pieces that actually slow the work are the ones that look easy from the curb.
What we handle
How the furniture comes out
The crew walks the room with you first, confirms the pieces leaving versus staying, and identifies anything that needs disassembly. When the owner isn’t on the island, photos and a word from the property manager tell us the same thing.
Sectionals come apart at the seams or the manufacturer’s connectors. Antique armoires that were assembled in the room before the room was finished get their own plan, and if a piece truly won’t clear a doorway, we’ll talk it through before any blade comes out.
Inside the house, we pad the floor, we don’t bang the corners, and we sweep up before we leave.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
Sea Island
The same job, with access handled
Whether the furniture is leaving a large house or a place in one of the cottage areas, the work is what we do everywhere in the Golden Isles. The part that’s particular to this island is access, and it isn’t yours to sort out: the island is private, so we coordinate it with you, your property manager or your caretaker before we head over.
Furniture swaps here often run on someone’s calendar — new pieces on the way, family coming, a refresh before the house is used again. Tell us the date that matters and we’ll plan the trip around it.
On the way out we’re careful with the doorways and floors inside, and with the private drive, the gates and the landscaping outside. No truck, trailer or crew damage. Every piece on the list leaves with us, nothing that’s staying gets touched, and we clean up before we get out of your way.

After the pickup
After it leaves the house
We sort furniture before it goes anywhere and figure out the right destination for each piece.
Solid wood, frame furniture, and lightly-used pieces have a much better donation path, and good ones get offered to local organizations we work with. But donation centers are not an extension of the landfill: they decide what they’ll accept, and condition matters.
Upholstery that’s been used hard and broken pieces go to proper disposal, and metal frames can go to scrap recycling, often SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Pricing
What moves the price
Furniture pricing scales with volume, weight, and access. A couple of chairs from a ground-floor room is the light end; a full bedroom suite brought down a stair with a tight turn is the heavy end. Sleeper sofas always cost more than they look like they should because the internal frame is the issue, not the upholstery. The address itself adds nothing.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
