Need a Sectional Taken Apart and Hauled Off Sea Island?
Same-Day Sectional Sofa Removal on Sea Island Often Available — Call or Text
A sectional is several couches latched together, and that is how it leaves: one connector at a time. The joints are usually metal brackets, clips, or interlocking rails hidden under the cushions, and you don’t have to touch a tool.
What we handle
How it comes apart
Most sectionals split at the seams they shipped with, and a modular sofa usually unhooks back into the same units it shipped as. The chaise and any recliner end carry their own internal hardware and come off the run separately.
A sleeper sectional adds a fold-out frame and a spring deck, and that section is always the heaviest piece on the truck. The piece count matters as much as the footprint, because every section is a separate carry.
Now and then a piece won’t come apart the way it should. Then we figure out the safest way to get it through the house. Send us a few photos and tell us where it is, and we’ll tell you what it takes.

Sea Island
A sectional on the island
The one thing Sea Island adds is access, and that is ours to handle. The island is private, so before we head over we coordinate with the homeowner, the property manager or the caretaker. If the new sofa is coming the same week, we can line our visit up with the delivery so the old one is gone before the new one comes through the door.
Whether the house sits off Forest Road or anywhere else on the island, the carry is planned around the tightest pinch point in the house, usually a landing turn or a doorway narrower than the biggest panel. Each section goes out on its own, and the walls, the trim, and the stair rail should look the same after we’re gone.
Outside, we’re just as careful with the private drive, the gates and the landscaping: no truck, trailer or crew damage. Every cushion and every section leaves with us, we clean up the spot where the sofa sat, and we’re out of your way.

Pricing
What changes the price
Sectional pricing scales with size, weight, and access, the same three things that decide the job. A two-piece L-shape on the ground floor is the light version; a four-piece set with a sleeper section in an upstairs room behind a turning stair is the heavy one. The island itself adds nothing to the number.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where it goes
A sectional in good shape is worth offering to an organization we work with, but donation standards for upholstered furniture are tight, and the organization decides what it accepts.
When it can’t be reused, we figure out the right destination for it. The metal brackets and any sleeper frame can go to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
