Swapping Out a Sectional in a St. Simons Rental or Home?
Same-Day Sectional Sofa Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, any size or shape. Under the cushions a sectional is a run of separate seats held together with brackets and clips, so it leaves in the units it shipped as. We find the joints, lift each piece off and carry it out on its own, and there’s no tool for you to pick up.
St. Simons Island
Sectionals on the island
A sectional on St. Simons might be the big L in a beach cottage or vacation home in East Beach, or the family couch in a house up in Harrington.
Near the beach, a lot of sectionals leave between guests. When a rental is being refurnished, the old one has to be out before the new one is carried in and before the next check-in, and that’s a deadline, not a suggestion. We plan the truck, the causeway and the carry around it, and then we show up when we said we would.
Those streets are tight and parking is scarce, so where the truck sits gets worked out before the first cushion comes off. A four-piece sectional is four separate carries, and we would rather walk each one a little farther than leave the truck where it blocks the block.
From April through September the turnovers stack up across the island and the causeway backs up on weekends. Give us the new furniture’s delivery date and we plan the old sectional out ahead of it.
What we handle
Taking it apart so it fits
Most of the work is finding the seams. Manufacturers hide them under the seat cushions — a bracket here, a clip or a rail there. A chaise or a recliner end carries its own hardware and comes off by itself, and a fold-out sleeper section, always the heaviest piece, travels alone.
We plan the route around the tightest point in the house, not the widest: a stair landing, a hallway turn, a condo door. The trim and the stair rail should look the same after we leave.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
Count the pieces, then think about the stairs. A two-section L in a ground-floor living room is the lighter version of this job; four sections plus a fold-out, coming down from a second-floor bonus room, is the heavier one. A condo elevator or a long walk from a beach street to the truck changes the carry, and anything else leaving the same house goes on one price.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for a sectional based on its condition and the job, and the load comes off the island to Brunswick.
One in good shape, with all its pieces together, is worth offering to an organization we work with, such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore or the Salvation Army. They decide what they accept, and condition matters.
A sectional that has been well lived in usually goes to disposal.
