Who Hauls Off an Old Pontoon Boat in Shellman Bluff?
Call or Text for the Next Available Pontoon Boat Removal Opening in Shellman Bluff
Yes, however long it has been sitting. A pontoon gives out from the deck down while the aluminum tubes underneath usually hold up. Years of rain soaked into plywood and carpet are why an old one weighs more than anyone remembers, and why it rarely comes apart neatly. That’s our problem to plan for, not yours.
The outboard, the trailer and whatever lake gear rode along with it can all go on the same job.
Shellman Bluff
Where a pontoon ends up around here
Shellman Bluff was never one spot on the map. It’s landings, fish camps, little roads and neighborhoods strung out through the marsh, and boats and docks are as much a part of it as the houses. So the pontoon that hasn’t moved in years might be parked under the trees behind a cottage, or on its trailer beside a house out at Pine Harbor, where boats, docks and tidal water come with the place.
Tell us where it sits the way you’d tell a neighbor, “down past the landing, behind the shed,” and add a few pictures. The length of the boat matters less than the trip from the boat to the road: soft ground, a narrow gate or low limbs decide the plan.
Boats take more planning than a couch call, so on a pontoon we’d rather have a few days than none. Call or text for the next available opening. Those days let us study the photos and settle whether it leaves whole or in pieces before anybody makes the drive down.
What we handle
How the pontoon comes out
When the tubes and frame are sound and we can get the equipment to it, the boat goes up in one piece. When the deck has gone to mush or the way out is tight, the fence, seats and decking come off right there and the tubes and frame follow as their own load. Either way, the spot should look like a boat was removed, not like one was taken apart there.
No trailer, or one that hasn’t rolled in years, is fine. A lot of pontoons can be lifted and loaded without one.
Old gas in the tank, a battery, a question about the paperwork: mention it with the photos and we’ll sort it out with you when we quote.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What sets the price of a pontoon
Each pontoon is priced on its own from your photos rather than off the truck-load table. Length, how much water the deck has taken on, and whether it leaves whole or in pieces set most of it; the walk between the boat and the road sets the rest.
It’s a real drive down from Brunswick, and that drive is in the number we give you from the start, never tacked on at the end.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
After the pickup
Where the pontoon goes
Every piece leaves on our truck, and we work out where each part should go by what it’s made of and the shape it’s in.
Aluminum tubes and frames that separate cleanly usually go to scrap recycling, usually at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Waterlogged plywood, split vinyl and old carpet go to disposal.
A depth finder or a stereo pulled off the console usually goes to Broadhurst, which takes certain broken electronics, since the McIntosh County landfill doesn’t accept electronics.
