Moving Out of a St. Simons Apartment, Condo or Townhouse?
Same-Day Apartment Cleanout on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, the whole unit. Apartment work differs from a house cleanout, and the difference is access: the volume is usually smaller, but each piece has to come down a stair, along a walkway or through an elevator before it reaches the truck. We carry all of it, and nobody has to move anything to the parking lot first.

Units on the island
Condos along the Demere corridor share the road with traffic and businesses, which makes where we stop, for how long, and how fast things move from the door to the truck part of the job itself. The elevator and the staging spot get settled with you or the building ahead of time, and then the load keeps moving so the space opens up again quickly.
For a unit among the beach cottages and vacation homes of East Beach, or a townhouse in The Commons at Frederica, the questions are the same: where the truck can sit, how far the carry runs and how many steps are in it. Near the beach, parking and trailer position are part of the work, and the smaller truck comes when the street calls for it.
Most apartment cleanouts run to a move-out date, and spring into early summer is when island move-outs climb hardest. When a unit has to be clear for an inspection, we plan the truck, the causeway and the carry backward from that date, then arrive when we said we would.
What we handle
What we take care of
Everything leaves on our truck. We don’t use the complex’s containers, so a couch or mattress never ends up in a compactor where a fee could be charged back to the unit.
The crew arrives with the dollies and straps for stairs and walkways, and a final pass confirms the unit is empty and swept, closets and cabinets included. If the building has loading hours or wants the elevator padded, we’ll sort it out with you when we quote.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
Two things set it: how much of the truck the unit fills, and access. A ground-floor unit with its door near the lot is the light version; a top-floor walk-up with a turn in the stair and a long walk to the truck is the heavy one, even for identical furniture. Staging time on a busy stretch of Demere counts too.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
What we haul
What we take
- Sofas, loveseats, sectionals and futons
- Mattresses, box springs and bed frames
- Dressers, nightstands and particle-board shelving
- Dining sets, desks and chairs
- TVs, microwaves and mini-fridges
- Balcony and patio furniture
- Closet leftovers, boxes and bagged move-out trash
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each piece. Usable furniture may be offered to organizations we work with, such as Goodwill or the Salvation Army, which decide what they accept.
A mini-fridge or wine cooler goes through the appropriate refrigerant recycling channel, often SA Recycling in Brunswick, and the rest is routed by material, with disposal last.
Each load comes off the island and goes straight to Brunswick.
