Who Can Clear Out a Packed Attic on St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Attic Cleanout on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, all of it — the boxes, the holiday bins, the crib, the chair that went up instead of out. An attic is the hardest room in a house to clear yourself, because every armload means working bent over, in the heat, at the top of a folding ladder. That part becomes ours.
St. Simons Island
Attic work on the island
Here the attic and the causeway peak in the same months. Summer is when the space under the roof is hottest and when traffic on and off the island backs up, so a June-to-August attic gets the first slot of the morning we can give it, before the roof heats up and before the bridge fills. If yours can wait for a cooler month, that is an easier day for everyone; if it can’t, the crew works it in short turns and rotates people down to cool off.
Plenty of island houses have real history in them, and the attic is where much of it ends up: letters, photographs, a trunk nobody has opened in decades. When something up there looks like it could matter, it doesn’t go on the truck on our say-so. We set it aside and ask.
In a house up in Frederica or one off the golf course in Sea Palms, the walk from the attic ladder to wherever the trailer can sit may be a long one. We work that carry out before we arrive, along with a parking spot that leaves the street open for the neighbors.
What we handle
What the crew handles up there
Where there’s no real floor — just joists with insulation laid between them — plywood goes down before anyone steps off the ladder. Heavy boxes travel down person to person instead of being carried, because a folding stair has a real weight limit.
If you’d like to look through things first, everything comes down and gets set out at floor level, in the air conditioning, and you point at what stays. The garage or a spare room can go out on the same visit.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What sets the price
How much of the truck the attic fills — a dozen boxes is a small load, a packed attic with furniture a bigger one — plus the length of the carry and anything else from the house riding along. The climbing and handing down are part of the job rather than an add-on, and the drive across the causeway is counted from the start.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for each piece as it comes down. Furniture and decorations in good shape may be offered to organizations we work with, such as Habitat ReStore or Goodwill. They decide what they accept, and years in a hot attic are hard on fabric and cardboard.
Old electronics go through an appropriate electronics recycling or disposal channel, metal such as bed frames usually goes to scrap at SA Recycling in Brunswick, and whatever is left is disposed of properly.
Loads leave the island straight for Brunswick instead of stopping at a transfer point on the way.
