Who Hauls Away Remodeling Debris on St. Simons Island?
Same-Day Construction Debris Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Can we take the remodel debris? Yes. Torn-out drywall and plaster, carpet and underlayment, tile, old cabinets and vanities, toilets and sinks, PVC and copper pipe, wire and framing scraps — from one bathroom to a whole house. We carry it out from wherever it ended up: the upstairs bath, the garage or the pile by the curb.
Construction material is heavy and the landfill charges by weight, so we’re upfront about that from the first call.
What we handle
How we handle a remodel haul
We sort on the truck as we load: metal in its own pile, the heavy material on one side, anything reusable kept apart. That’s what lets each part of the load go somewhere sensible at the other end.
Mid-project pickups are routine. When the demo is finished but the new work can’t start until the old material is gone, we come, clear it, and get out of the next trade’s way.
For a long remodel, we can also place a roll-off dumpster in the driveway, though for many jobs it’s easier to have us load and haul it. Call, or text us a photo, and we’ll tell you which fits.
After water or storm damage inside the house, we fit our visit around your timeline and the remediation crew’s.
Chemicals, solvents, fuel, or anything that might contain asbestos travel by a different route, and we’ll tell you where those go.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
St. Simons Island
Renovation debris on the island
On the Demere corridor, renovation debris is mostly a staging problem. Between the condos, the businesses and the traffic, where the truck can stop and how long it can sit decide the job as much as the debris does. We pick a safe spot with you or the building ahead of time and move material from the unit to the truck without leaving it heaped in a hallway or a parking space.
A kitchen redo in a house in St. Clair or a bathroom gutted in Fifty Oaks leaves the same kind of pile: cabinets stacked in the garage, carpet rolled by the door, drywall on the porch. We load it as it is, without anyone sorting it first.
When a rental gets a refresh between guests, the debris runs on the same clock as any turnover: it has to be gone before check-in. We plan the truck and the causeway around that deadline and show up when we said we would.
The island has its own drop-off behind the farmers market, and we have used it. Renovation material still has to reach the mainland in the end, though, so for most loads we drive straight into Brunswick instead of handling everything twice.

Pricing
What changes the price
Volume and weight together. Half a truck of drywall or tile weighs far more than half a truck of cabinets, and the disposal cost follows the weight. Access counts as well: an upstairs bathroom, a condo elevator or a long walk from the unit to the truck all add time.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where the debris goes
We figure out the right destination for each part of the load, and it leaves the island straight for Brunswick.
Copper pipe, conduit and other metal usually go to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
Cabinets in good shape are worth offering to an organization we work with, such as Habitat for Humanity ReStore, which decides what it accepts. Drywall, tile, glass and contaminated material go to disposal, and we call that what it is.
