Heavy Pull-Out Couch to Get Out of a St. Simons Condo or Home?
Same-Day Sleeper Sofa Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, mattress and all. A sleeper is two pieces of furniture pretending to be one: the couch you see, and a hinged steel frame with a full mattress folded up inside it. Nothing has to come out of it before we arrive; it leaves in one piece.
St. Simons Island
Pull-outs in island condos and homes
It might be the guest-room couch in a St. Simons Heights house or the den sofa over in Glynn Haven.
Along the Demere corridor a pull-out is just as likely to be in a condo, and there the building is half the job. It looks like a couch and carries like an appliance, so the elevator booking, a place the truck can legally stop, and somewhere to set a heavy piece down between the unit and the curb all get settled before the crew arrives. Elevators, narrow access and association requirements can all shape how a removal like this is planned.
Pull-outs are a regular part of the furniture swaps between guests in island rentals. When one has to be gone before a check-in, we plan around that hour, not just the day. From April through September those swaps come steadily, and we plan around the check-in.

What we handle
Carrying weight that moves
The trouble isn’t only how heavy it is; it’s that the weight shifts. The folded frame swings as the piece tilts, the latch can drop open, and the mattress slides toward the low end of every turn. Straps go around the fold-out before it leaves the floor, and we know how we’re taking the landing before anyone picks up an end.
The mattress stays put; on most hide-a-beds it’s fixed to the steel deck anyway. A doorway that won’t pass the sofa upright usually will with the sofa on its side.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where it goes
We figure out the right destination for the sleeper based on its condition, and it leaves the island for Brunswick with the rest of the load.
A clean, solid sleeper is worth offering to an organization we work with, such as the Salvation Army or Goodwill. They decide what they accept, and condition matters.
One that has been slept on hard for years usually goes to disposal.
Pricing
What changes the price
Size and stairs. A loveseat-size pull-out on a ground floor is the lighter version; a queen hide-a-bed coming down several flights with no elevator is the heavier one. That hidden frame is the reason a sleeper prices above an ordinary couch of the same length, and the causeway is already counted.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
