Need a Stack of Old Pallets Hauled Off St. Simons?

Same-Day Pallet Removal on St. Simons Island Often Available — Call or Text

Can we take them? Yes. Pallets show up with everything and leave with nothing — sod, pavers, stone, a new appliance, a shop’s weekly freight — and then they lean against the garage for a season. A few from the side yard or a whole stack, broken, split or nail-studded, they all go, along with the shrink wrap, banding and cardboard.

Nobody has to sort them for us first.

St. Simons Island

Pallets on the island

Along the Demere corridor, a business’s pallet stack usually sits out back by a loading door, with traffic and neighboring storefronts close by. We work out where the truck can safely stop, keep the pallets moving from the pile to the truck without spreading them across the lot, and leave the spot clear for the next delivery.

At home the pile is smaller: a few left from a paver patio behind a house in Glynn Haven, or the ones a new fridge arrived on at a home in Epworth Acres. A small pile is a small job, and it’s priced like one.

The causeway is the one road off the island, and from late spring through summer its traffic stretches both legs of the trip. We count that into the number we give you rather than adding it later.

If a shop on the island keeps receiving freight, a standing pickup can be set up around the deliveries so the stack never gets tall again.

What we handle

How we take them

A neat stack loads fast. A pile that has grown into the weeds takes longer, because each pallet has to be worked loose, and pallets that sat through the rain weigh a good deal more than dry ones.

For a season’s worth behind a business, we size the equipment to the stack — the truck, a dump trailer or a dumpster.

Wooden crates and skids go the same way.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

After the pickup

Where pallets go

We figure out the right destination for each load from what’s in it, and it comes straight off the island to Brunswick.

Intact pallets sometimes have another use, so the good ones get set aside where reuse makes sense; broken ones and rotted wood are disposed of properly.

Any metal mixed into the pile, like a roll of wire or an old grill, usually goes to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.

What we haul

What we take

  • Standard wood shipping pallets
  • Broken, split and nail-studded pallets
  • Wooden crates and skids
  • Pallets left from paver, sod and stone deliveries
  • Bulk stacks from shops and storage areas
  • Shrink wrap, banding and cardboard from the freight

Pricing

What changes the price

Pallets are priced by how much of the truck they fill, so the count and whether they’re stacked or broken apart matter most. Wet pallets, a pile that has to be dug out of the weeds, or a long walk from the back of a lot add time.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
