Pricing

How pricing works.

What boat trailer removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.

Trailer pricing turns on length, whether it rolls, and how much room there is to get it out. A short jet ski trailer is the light end; a long pontoon trailer with seized hubs in a tight side yard is the heavy end. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Light Demolition service

A boat trailer outlives its boat more often than not. The hull gets sold, scrapped or sunk, and the trailer stays where it was parked, because it still looks useful and nobody wants to think about it. Years later it’s a rusted frame with the bunks rotted off, the winch stand frozen, the lights hanging by a wire and the tires flat into the dirt.

What makes them their own job is that they are long, low and awkward rather than heavy. A trailer built for a twenty-foot boat is more than twenty feet of steel with a tongue sticking out the front, and in a side yard or between a house and a fence there may be no room to swing it. Saltwater is hard on them, too: bearings seize, hubs rust solid, and a trailer that has sat near the marsh often won’t roll even with air in the tires.

Pontoon trailers are wider and longer still, and jet ski trailers are the opposite — short and light, often with one or two dead skis still strapped on, which makes them a different call entirely.

How we work

The Empty Boat Trailer Left Behind in Brunswick

A trailer that rolls is loaded whole. One that won’t — seized hubs, sunk tires, a tongue buried in the grass — is winched, and a trailer too long for the space around it can come apart before the frame goes. Your photos of the tires and the space around it tell us which.

No paperwork for it, or the boat that went with it is long gone? Mention it when you send the pictures and we’ll sort it out with you at the quote.

A few days’ notice helps us plan the visit, and anything else in the yard can go in the same load.

The boat got sold and the trailer stayed. At a home in Marshes of Mackay near the Mackay River, or at a house or business along Blythe Island Highway, an empty boat trailer can sit long enough for the hubs to seize and the bunks to rot. If it rolls, it goes whole; if not, it’s winched, or cut down when it’s too long for the space around it. A long side yard with a narrow gate can matter more than the trailer, so a photo of the route out helps. Give us a few days, and anything else in the yard can ride on the same trip, anywhere around the Brunswick mainland.
