Need Just One Room Emptied Out in Your Brunswick Home?
Same-Day Room Cleanout in Brunswick Often Available — Call or Text
The short version
Room Cleanout at a glance.
- What it is
- Clearing one room, or a few, inside a lived-in house -- spare bedrooms, home offices, closets, laundry and storage rooms -- carried out through the rest of the home without disturbing it.
- What’s included
- Everything in the room, or only what you point at
- A planned path out with floors, walls and doorways protected
- Furniture taken apart where it was built to come apart
- Usable items offered to local organizations, which decide what they accept
- A swept room when it is done
- How pricing works
- Priced by how much of the truck the room fills, with stairs and long carries built in. Firm price from your photos; added rooms are priced and agreed before they are carried.
Yes, we’ll clear a single room, and it doesn’t have to be part of anything bigger. Most houses have one. The spare bedroom that turned into the place things go. The home office nobody has worked in since the job changed. The back closet, the laundry room with a broken dryer still in it, the dining room that’s really a storage room with a table somewhere underneath.
The rest of the house is fine. You live in it. That’s exactly what makes a one-room job different from a whole-house cleanout: everything coming out of that room has to travel through the parts of your home that aren’t part of the job — down the hall, maybe down the stairs, past the furniture you’re keeping and out the front door.
So the real work isn’t the room. It’s the trip from the room to the truck, done in a way that leaves nothing behind but the empty space you asked for.
Who calls us
Who we run this work for.
Everything, or almost everything. Some people want the room down to bare walls. Others want the bed gone but the dresser to stay, or the boxes gone but the bookcase kept. Either way is easy. Point at what stays, and that’s the end of the conversation.
Whether you want to look first. If there are boxes you haven’t opened in years, you can go through them before they leave, or not at all. If the crew comes across something that looks like it matters — photos, papers, jewelry, anything that looks old or valuable — they stop and ask instead of guessing.
One room or a few. Once people see one room empty, a second room usually starts looking a lot like the first. If you want to add the closet down the hall while the crew is there, we’ll tell you what it adds before anyone carries anything, and you decide.
How we do it
Room Cleanouts in Older and Newer Brunswick Houses
Send us a few photos of the room, the doorway and the way out of the house, and tell us what goes. An estimator looks it over and sends back a firm price, usually within about 30 minutes. Since the work is inside your home, we generally ask that someone be there.
Before anything moves, the crew walks the path out and figures the best way to get each piece through it without touching your floors, walls or doorways. Moving blankets and floor coverings go down where they’re needed. A bed frame or a desk that came in in pieces usually goes out in pieces. If a door has to come off its hinges for a big piece to clear the frame, it comes off and goes back on. Nothing gets dragged across a hardwood floor.
The room gets emptied in the order that makes sense — loose things and boxes first, then furniture, then whatever was hiding behind it. When it’s done, the room is swept and the path through the house is put back exactly as it was.
One room doesn’t need a big plan to get on the schedule. Same-day pickup is often available in Brunswick, St. Simons Island and the Golden Isles — call or text for the next available opening. Camden County and inland areas are scheduled, usually within the week. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
In an older house in New Town, the hard part of a room cleanout is usually the way out: narrow halls, a tight turn at the stairs, door frames that were built long before anybody owned a king mattress. In a house along Golden Isles Parkway, it may be the distance instead — a bonus room upstairs and a long walk to the front door. Either way the crew plans the carry before anything moves, so the only room that changes is the one you asked about. Send photos of the room and the path out from any house in Brunswick.

Pricing
How pricing works on these jobs.
A room cleanout is priced by how much of the truck it fills. A closet of clothes and a few boxes is a small load. A spare bedroom with a bed, a dresser, a desk and years of boxes is a bigger one. Stairs and a long carry through the house are figured into the price up front, not added when the crew sees them.
The number we give you from your photos is the number you pay. If you decide to add another room while we’re there, we’ll tell you what it adds and let you decide. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
The spare bedroom and the guest room
This is the usual one. It started as a guest room and became the room where everything waits for a decision — the extra mattress, the exercise bike, a stack of boxes from the last move, the kids’ furniture after the kids moved on.
Sometimes there’s a reason behind the call: a baby on the way, a parent moving in, a grown child coming home. The crew gets it down to an empty room you can actually use, and whatever’s still in good shape can be offered to local organizations we work with, like Habitat for Humanity ReStore, the Salvation Army or Goodwill. They decide what they accept, and condition matters.
The home office
A home office tends to be heavy for its size. Desks, file cabinets full of paper, a printer, an old computer tower or two, a bookcase loaded with binders. The furniture comes apart where it’s built to, and the file cabinets come out as they are.
Old computers and monitors go to the appropriate electronics recycling or disposal channel. If there’s a drive with your information on it, we work around your timing for wiping it — tell us when you send photos and we’ll schedule around that.
Closets, laundry rooms and storage rooms
The small rooms fill up fastest because nobody has to look at them. A walk-in closet that holds three decades of clothes and luggage. A laundry room with the old washer still in place next to the new one. A storage room, or a basement if your house has one, where boxes are stacked to the ceiling.
These are quick for the crew and often go on the same trip as a bigger room. If you’ve got a few of them, show us all of them and we’ll price it as one visit.
