Renovating Rooms at a St. Simons Island Hotel or Inn?

Same-Day Hotel Furniture Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text

Yes, we take hotel and resort furniture, from a handful of rooms to a whole property in phases. A renovation doesn’t need a pile hauled; it needs rooms emptied in the order the contractor works, without old furniture sitting in a hallway when a guest steps off the elevator.

Every load comes straight off the island to Brunswick, so nothing waits on the property overnight.

What we handle

What we take care of

Tell us the renovation sequence — which rooms or floors, which days — and we schedule removal against it. Guest floors mean elevators, and elevators mean timing, so we agree which car we can use and when, pad the walls and corners, and never leave a corridor blocked longer than it has to be.

When the volume is more than one trip, we run it as scheduled trips with a truck, trailers or a dumpster sized to the job. If you need photos or a list of what left for your records, tell us when you book and we’ll work with you.

Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

St. Simons Island

Renovation work on the island

Properties along the Demere corridor share the road with condos, shops and steady traffic, so where the truck stops and how long it stays there are planned before the first headboard comes down. We pick a staging spot that keeps the drive open for arriving guests and move the load from the service door to the truck in short, steady runs.

Guest rooms might be at a property in Pier Village — the south end, with restaurants, shops and the pier — or mid-island at Redfern Village. Near the pier, parking is tight most of the year, so work there is set up to get in, load efficiently and get out.

Turnover work has taught us how hospitality schedules run: when rooms have to be ready, late isn’t an option. We plan the truck, the causeway and the carry around your dates and then arrive when we said we would, so the painters and carpet crews behind us never stand idle.

From April through September the island is at its busiest, with rental turnovers stacked into the same weeks. If your renovation lands in those months, we set each phase of the removal around your schedule.

After the pickup

Where it goes

We figure out the right destination for each part of the load once it’s off the island in Brunswick.

Hotel furniture in good shape can have a real second life. Organizations we work with, such as the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity ReStore and Goodwill, decide what they can take and how much of it they can use, so it’s a reasonable effort, never a promise.

Metal bed bases and carts usually go to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.

Pricing

What changes the price

A renovation is quoted as one project: the room count, what’s in each room, the elevator and loading situation, and how the work spreads across days. A few rooms on one floor is a short schedule; a whole property in phases is a longer one, priced as a whole rather than trip by trip.

Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
