Yes, we take every part of the cooking line: freestanding and slide-in ranges, single and double wall ovens, gas, electric and induction cooktops, range hoods, and the microwave mounted above the stove. Wall ovens and double ovens are their own category, and the crew is planned around them.

What we handle
What we take care of
A slide-in range sometimes needs the counter trim eased off before it clears, which is extra work but nothing unusual. A wall oven sits in a cabinet opening, and if it’s a double, that can mean extra hands or a stair-climbing dolly.
Gas ranges come out as well as electric ones. When licensed electrical or plumbing work is needed, that’s normally handled by you or a licensed pro. Show us what you have and where it is, and we’ll help figure out what’s needed and work around it.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

St. Simons Island
Kitchens on the south end and along Demere
Around the Village, a stove job is planned twice: once on the phone, and again when we pull up and see what the street is doing that morning. Older homes, almost no parking and visitors most of the year mean the truck’s position and the timing are settled before the range leaves the wall, and nobody’s traffic gets blocked to save us a few minutes. A vintage range in a German Village house is handled exactly that way.
In a condo, the heavy piece is a double wall oven or a full range coming down in an elevator. For a condo at Ocean Walk or one along the Demere corridor, the building and the truck spot come first, and the oven travels from door to truck on a dolly rated for it.
Kitchen work runs on delivery dates — new stove arrives Wednesday, the old one needs to leave Thursday. Summer causeway traffic makes the hour matter as much as the day, so let us know when the installer is due and we’ll plan the drive on and off the island around it.
After the pickup
What happens to the old stove
We figure out the right destination based on the unit and its condition. Most of a stove is steel, so it’s usually recycled as scrap metal, typically at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
A range that still works can sometimes be passed along to someone who needs one, if its condition allows. Whoever takes it makes that call.
Like most of our island loads, it heads straight into Brunswick instead of making an extra stop on the island.
Pricing
What changes the price
Type, weight and access. A freestanding electric range from a ground-floor kitchen is the lightest version; a double wall oven from an upstairs kitchen is the heaviest. Near the Village, parking and timing can add as much to the job as the oven does.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
