Washer and Dryer Ready to Go From a St. Simons Home or Rental?
Same-Day Washer & Dryer Removal on St. Simons Often Available — Call or Text
Yes, we take both halves of the laundry: top-loaders and front-loaders, single-cabinet laundry centers, the pedestals underneath, and dryers of either kind — gas dryers come out too. A front-loader is the one that catches people out, with concrete counterweight built into the drum housing, so every carry is planned with a dolly and the hands it needs.

St. Simons Island
Laundry rooms from one end of the island to the other
Toward the north end the island spreads out. Lots are bigger, some ground is soft, and the walk from a laundry room to where the truck can sit runs longer than anywhere else here, so we budget extra time and bring another set of hands instead of hurrying a heavy machine across a yard. Picture a washer in a house up in Harrington coming out a side door and down a long drive.
Rentals are the other half of laundry work on the island. A machine that dies mid-season in a vacation house has to be gone before the next guests arrive, and turnover days run on the property manager’s clock — a four o’clock turn means four o’clock. Tell us the window, and the truck, the causeway and the carry get planned around it.
Plenty of calls are simpler than either: the new pair has been delivered, and the old washer and dryer wait in the garage of a house in St. Simons Heights for somebody to take them away.

What we handle
What we take care of in the laundry room
Most pairs leave by the same door they came in. The slower ones sit in a cramped closet with no room to angle a dolly, or upstairs where the machine has to come down a staircase; a stacked set comes apart first, and each half travels on its own.
Hookups differ from house to house, so a photo of the connections behind the machines tells us what we’re walking into. When licensed electrical or plumbing work is needed, that’s normally handled by you or a licensed pro. Show us what you have and where it is, and we’ll help figure out what’s needed and work around it.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.
After the pickup
Where the machines end up
We figure out where each machine should go based on its condition. Washers and dryers are mostly metal, so they’re usually recycled as scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick.
A pair with years left in it is sometimes repaired cheaply and passed to a family who needs one. That depends on the machines and is never promised.
The trip off the island runs directly to Brunswick, with no stop at a transfer site in between.
Pricing
What changes the price
One machine or both, which floor, and the length of the walk to the truck. A pair from a ground-floor utility room beside the driveway is the light end; a stacked set from an upstairs closet in a house with a long carry is the heavy end. Several appliances from one address price as a single load rather than separate trips.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
