Selling a Sea Island Home That Has to Be Empty by Closing?
Same-Day Home Sale Cleanout on Sea Island Often Available — Call or Text
When a house goes under contract, the closing date runs the calendar, and the buyer’s final walkthrough is the day everyone is really working toward. Whatever isn’t staying with the house needs to be gone and the floors swept by then. That’s the part we take off your hands.
Sea Island
Clearing a house on the island before it changes hands
A house changing hands is one of the times a bigger cleanout comes up on Sea Island, and the work itself is no different from the mainland. Every room, the garage, the attic, the porches and the yard get looked at together and quoted as one project.
What’s different is getting on the island. Sea Island is private, so we sort out access with whoever is handling the house during the sale: the owner, a property manager, a caretaker, or the agent with the keys. That’s on us. If the family selling lives out of state, nobody has to fly in to open the door.
Whether the house is near the beach or over by River Club, the day goes the same way. We arrive when we said we would, work from the list of what stays and what goes, and keep the truck on the drive and clear of the gate and the plantings. When the last load pulls out, the rooms are swept and the house is ready for the buyer.
What we handle
What we take care of
Your contract decides what conveys: often the built-in appliances and fixtures, sometimes the washer and dryer. Tell us what’s staying and it stays exactly where it is. Everything else leaves.
Papers, photographs, a box of letters at the back of a closet: anything that looks important, valuable or personal gets set aside and brought to you, not decided by the crew.
When it was a parent’s house, we can work in stages: the garage, attic and storage first, then the rooms where the family still has choices to make. If you need photos or a list of what left for your records, tell us when you book and we’ll work with you.
Send us a few photos and tell us what you need removed. We’ll take it from there.

Pricing
What changes the price
How much is there and how hard it is to reach. A full house is quoted as one project from photos; the last few pieces after a move are priced by how much of the truck they fill. The island doesn’t change the math: it’s the room the load takes, the labor to carry it out, the access and the disposal, the same as anywhere in the Golden Isles.
Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95. We don’t charge extra for same-day pickup when we have an open time slot.
After the pickup
Where it all goes
We figure out the right destination for what comes out of the house. Furniture and housewares someone could use may be offered to local organizations such as the Salvation Army, Goodwill or Habitat ReStore, and they decide what they can accept.
Old refrigerators and freezers go through the appropriate appliance and refrigerant recycling channel, often SA Recycling in Brunswick, and scrap metal usually goes there as well. What has no useful life left goes to proper disposal.
