Refrigerator removal across the Golden Isles.
Full-size, mini, chest freezers, wine coolers. Refrigerant handled the way EPA rules require. Then it’s out the door.
Refrigerator removal looks like a furniture job until you remember what’s inside the wall of the unit. Refrigerant is the part most haulers either ignore or cut corners on. We don’t. Refrigerant gets handled the way EPA rules require, before the unit ever leaves the property.
The rest is physical work. Full-size refrigerators are heavy and tall. Built-ins are sometimes screwed into cabinetry. Chest freezers are bottom-heavy and don’t take stairs gracefully. Mini fridges and wine coolers are easier — but they still carry refrigerant, and they still get the same treatment as the big ones.
What customers call us back for on appliance work is the part most operators skip: doing it right when no one’s watching. The fridge is going to be gone either way. We just do the job the way it’s supposed to be done.
What we haul
Specifically, what we take for refrigerator removal.
- Full-size refrigerators (top freezer, bottom freezer, French door, side-by-side)
- Built-in and counter-depth refrigerators
- Chest freezers and upright freezers
- Mini fridges and dorm refrigerators
- Wine coolers and beverage centers
- Ice makers (standalone and built-in)
How we work
How we actually handle it.
Refrigerator removal starts with the refrigerant — handled the way EPA rules require before the unit ever leaves the property. After that it’s a dolly job, two-person standard, two-or-three for built-ins or anything heavy enough that a single dolly run isn’t enough.
We disconnect the water line for ice makers. We handle the door if the fridge needs to come through a tighter doorway than it went in. Built-in units sometimes require unscrewing from the cabinetry — bring tools, don’t bring force. We don’t pry, we don’t crack a tile, we don’t leave a scuff.
Stairs are real on appliances. A fridge down a flight of basement stairs is a different job than a fridge from a kitchen-on-grade. Tell us on the call what we’re walking into.
Pricing
How pricing works.
Refrigerator pricing scales with size, weight, and where the unit is. A counter-height mini fridge from a garage is light and quick. A built-in side-by-side from a finished basement is heavier and slower. Add stairs, add time. Add a tight doorway, add planning.
We give you the number before we touch the unit. No surprises after the fact.

The honest exceptions
What we won’t take — for this item.
A short, honest list of edge cases we either won’t take or want to discuss before we show up. When in doubt, call us — we’ll walk through it before scheduling.
- Refrigerators with active visibly-leaking refrigerant — call us first so we can plan the right protocol
