Old Satellite Dish in a Brunswick Back Yard?

Pricing
How pricing works.
What satellite dish removal costs here. We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
A dish that’s already down is mostly a question of how much truck it takes. A big dish still standing in the yard adds the time to take it apart and get the pole out of the ground. The minimum for any pickup is $95.

Part of our Light Demolition service
Before streaming and small dishes, some homes had a big one: a C-band dish eight or ten feet across, standing on a steel pole in the back yard, sometimes with a motor to swing it across the sky. Many of those are still out there, rusted in place, with a vine up the pole and a lawn mower path worn around the base.
They’re mostly metal — an aluminum or steel-mesh reflector on a steel arm and pole — which means they’re bulky rather than heavy, and almost all of it can be recovered. Once a dish is taken apart, the metal usually goes to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick, rather than the landfill.
The same goes for the antennas that come off a house over the years: the old TV antenna and its mast, a CB or ham radio antenna, the small dishes from changing TV providers. Taken down and stacked by the shed, they’re a quick haul.

How we work
Taking Down a Satellite Dish on a Rural Brunswick Lot
A yard dish comes apart into its pieces — reflector, arm, motor and pole — and how the pole is set in the ground decides how it comes out. Your photos tell us which it is, and the price includes it.
Dishes and antennas that are already down are a straight load: they go on the truck, and the metal goes to scrap. If what you have is still up on a roof or a tower, send photos and we’ll tell you what it takes.
If there’s more in the yard — a rotted shed, an old swing set, a scrap pile — it can go in the same trip.
If the old dish is standing in a back field out Highway 99 or behind a house along Old Jesup Road, the walk from the pole to where the truck can park is part of the price, so a photo of the base and one of the driveway help. The reflector, arm and motor come apart, the pole comes out of the ground, and the metal usually goes to scrap, often at SA Recycling in Brunswick. Antennas, masts and the small dishes left from changing providers can go too. Out in the country or right in town, the work is handled the same way across the Brunswick area.
