We price by the tier your items fill, starting at $95–$150 for a 1/8 truck; a single item is quoted from a photo so we can confirm the tier before anything is loaded. The number you agree to is the number you pay, and it includes carry-out, the disposal fee and cleanup.
Campers price after a look rather than over the phone, because the category tells you almost nothing. Two identical thirty-foot trailers in the same neighborhood can be a straightforward tow-out and a two-day job depending entirely on the tires, the ground, and what is in the way.
What drives the number: whether it will roll, how far it is from something a truck can reach, what the ground will carry, the size of the unit, and whether it comes out whole or has to be handled where it sits. Length matters less than people expect. Access matters more.
You get a real number before anything moves, and it holds unless the scope does. Photographs are usually enough to get there; a walkthrough is free and settles the rest.

An old camper is one of the few things people own that is genuinely difficult to get rid of, and the reason is that it falls between every category. It is too big for a junk truck and too dead for a dealer. A scrapyard will take the metal but does not want the rest of it. A tow company will move it but has nowhere to take it. So it sits behind the shed, and every year it sits it becomes slightly harder to move than it was the year before.
What actually decides this job is not the length on the title. It is whether the thing will roll. A trailer with four inflated tires and a coupler that still works can be pulled out in one piece. A trailer sitting on flat or rotted tires, with a frame that has settled into the ground and a floor that has gone soft, is a different operation entirely — and the ones that have been sitting longest are almost always the second kind.
The second thing that decides it is authority. We need to know that whoever is hiring us has the right to dispose of the unit. Usually that is straightforward and it is your own trailer in your own yard. Where it gets complicated is a unit somebody else left on your property, a park or storage lot clearing an abandoned camper, or an estate where the title is somewhere in a box. We do not adjudicate that and we do not advise on it. Get it settled and the physical work is the easy part.

How we work
Getting an Old RV Off a Rural Brunswick Lot
The first thing we want is photographs — the unit, the tongue and coupler, the tires, and enough of the surroundings to see how it comes out. Those four pictures answer most of the questions. The tires answer the biggest one.
A unit that will roll gets pulled out whole, which is the fastest and cheapest version of this job for everybody. A unit that will not roll gets handled where it sits, and that means bringing the equipment to it rather than the other way around. What comes out of an RV once it is being taken apart is not one material — it is aluminum siding, a steel frame, appliances, cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, upholstery, insulation, and a roof membrane, and those do not all go the same direction.
Access is the thing that most often changes the number. Six years of sitting means whatever grew up around it grew up around it — a fence built past it, a tree that got large, a shed that went up next to it, soft ground that will not carry weight after rain. Tell us what is between the unit and the road when you send the pictures.
Let us know about any propane tanks when you send photos, so we can figure out the right way to handle them. Fuel and batteries still in the unit are worth mentioning too — batteries we take, and we'll work out the fuel with you when we quote.
We figure out where the material goes based on what it is. The metal — frame, siding, axles, appliance carcasses — has genuine recoverable value and usually goes to metal recycling. The tires come off and go to the appropriate tire recycling or disposal channel; tires do not travel with a general load. The rest of it, the parts that are wood, insulation, membrane, and upholstery that has been sitting in coastal humidity for years, is disposal, and we are not going to describe that as anything else.
A camper that has sat for years on a rural lot out in Fancy Bluff, or behind a house or business along Highway 17 South, is mostly a question of the path out. If it still rolls, it leaves whole. If it doesn’t, we bring the equipment to it and take it apart where it sits, with the metal frame and siding sorted from the rest.
