Same-Day Condo Cleanouts in Brunswick Often Available — Call or Text
The short version
Condo Cleanouts at a glance.
- What it is
- Clearing an owned condo — for a sale, a furniture refresh or a family member’s unit — working within the building’s elevator, loading and parking rules.
- What’s included
- Furniture, mattresses, appliances and household contents
- Balcony and storage-room contents
- Elevator padding, loading windows and parking handled per building rules
- Everything hauled on our truck, nothing left in the building’s dumpster
- How pricing works
- Priced by how much of the truck the load fills, with the floor and the carry factored in. Firm price from your photos, confirmed before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
Clearing a condo isn’t hard because of how much is in it. Most condos hold a lot less than a house. It’s hard because of everything between the unit and the truck.
There’s a hallway, and maybe a second one. There’s an elevator that other owners are trying to use, and the building may want it reserved or padded before furniture rides in it. There’s a parking lot or a garage with a height limit, a loading area that isn’t really a loading area, and a manager or association with rules about when moving can happen. And on the islands, the parking can be its own problem.
The reasons for clearing one vary. You’re selling and the buyer doesn’t want the furniture. You’re replacing everything and the old set has to leave before the new one arrives. A parent owned the unit and it’s come to you to empty. Or it’s a second home you’re finally refreshing. The building is the same problem every time.
Who calls us
Who we run this work for.
The first thing to figure out is the building’s side of it. Some associations want notice before any furniture moves, some want the elevator reserved, some only allow it during certain hours. You don’t need to become an expert on your building’s rules — just tell us who manages it, and we’ll work within whatever they require.
The second is what stays. On a sale, sometimes the buyer is taking some of the furniture and the rest goes. On a refresh, the new furniture may be arriving the same week. If timing matters, tell us, and we’ll schedule around the delivery so the old pieces are out first.
The third is how much. A whole unit, a few rooms, or just the big pieces? A photo of each room tells us most of what we need.
How we do it
Condo Cleanouts on the Brunswick Mainland
Send a few photos — each room, the balcony if anything’s out there, and if you can, the hallway or elevator. Tell us the building and the floor. We come back with a firm price, confirmed before anything is loaded.
On the day, the crew works to the building’s rules — padding the elevator if that’s what the association wants, using the loading window they set, parking where they allow. Nothing goes in the building’s dumpster or trash room. Everything leaves on our truck.
Then it’s a carry: furniture comes out of the unit, down the hall, down the elevator or the stairs, and across the lot to the truck. We take apart what needs taking apart to fit through a door. Refrigerators and other refrigerant appliances go through the appropriate appliance and refrigerant recycling channel, often SA Recycling in Brunswick, for proper recovery. Furniture in good shape may be offered to a local organization we work with, if they can use it.
Same-day pickup is often available in Brunswick, St. Simons Island and the Golden Isles — call or text for the next available opening. Camden County and inland areas are scheduled, usually within the week. If the building only allows moving on certain days, we schedule to that.
Not every condo cleanout is on the island. On the mainland, units along the Altama Avenue corridor or off the Glynco Parkway corridor raise the same questions in a different setting: whether the association wants notice, which stairs or elevator the furniture comes down, and how near the building the truck can park. A few photos of the rooms and the way out, plus the building and the floor, give us enough for a firm price. Nothing goes in the complex’s dumpster — everything leaves on our truck, and the unit is left swept. Condos and apartments across the Brunswick mainland are priced the same way as anywhere else.

Pricing
How pricing works on these jobs.
Condo cleanouts are priced by how much of the truck the load fills, the same as a house. What a condo adds is the carry: the distance from the unit to the truck, the floor, whether there’s an elevator, and any loading rules that shape the day. A ground-floor unit near the parking lot is a lighter job than a top-floor unit at the end of a long hallway, even with the same furniture.
Send photos and tell us the floor and the building, and you’ll get a firm price before anything is loaded. The minimum for any pickup is $95.
Working with the building, not around it
Condo associations and building managers set the rules for moving furniture in and out, and those rules exist for real reasons — scratched elevator walls, blocked fire lanes, a resident who couldn’t get in the garage. We work to them.
That means checking with the manager if needed, using the elevator pads and the times they ask for, keeping the hallway clear between trips, and parking the truck where they want it. It also means everything leaves with us. A couch left next to the building’s dumpster can mean a fine for the unit owner and a complaint from a neighbor.
If the manager needs anything from us before the work — when we’re coming, what size truck — tell us and we’ll take care of it.
Island condos and the parking problem
On St. Simons, condo work comes with traffic and parking. Along the Demere corridor there’s traffic, condos and businesses side by side, and finding a safe place to stage the truck is part of planning the job. Near the Village and the pier, congestion and parking mean getting in and out efficiently.
On island condo jobs, a photo of the parking area or the building entrance helps us plan as much as a photo of the living room does.
Clearing for a sale or making room for new furniture
When a condo is being sold, the goal is usually an empty, clean unit by a date. Tell us the date, and if the buyer is keeping anything, mark it or tell us what it is.
When it’s a refresh, the timing runs the other way: the old furniture needs to be out before the new delivery shows up, and there may be only one day the building allows both. We can schedule the removal ahead of the delivery so the unit is clear when the new pieces come up the elevator.
If you’re clearing a parent’s condo after a move or a loss, our estate cleanout and senior downsizing pages talk more about that side of it.
